Hexagon Bolt Manufacturing Process

In general, there are two Hexagon bolt manufacturing process, the first is the punch and the second is the filature. The advantage of this process is that the cost is lower, but the quality does not meet the high strength requirements. Here is a process for producing a hexagonal bolt using a cold heading machine. The steps are as follows:
1. As with the manufacture of hexagon socket bolts, the blanks of the length required to form the product are cut by semi-circular cutting scissors; the clips cooperate with the cutting scissors to send the blanks to the first main die.
2. The first die is lifted and the cutting material is pushed into the first main cavity to be stamped for the first time to become a blank with a drum head on the rod (where the length and diameter of the rod have been matched with the finished product of the screw) The size requirements will not change in the future.
3. Then the second die is lifted up, and the drum head of the blank in the first main cavity is punched into a thick flat head. The thickness of the large flat head has reached the same thickness as the finished hexagonal head, and the diameter of the large flat head is slightly larger than Finished hex head circumscribed circle diameter.
4. Then, while the second die is retracted, the top bar in the first main cavity pushes the blank with a thick flat head on the rod into the second die, and the second die lowers the blank to the second Wait for the last blow of the third die in the master.
5. The last shot of the “cutting die” on the third punch cuts out the “perfect” outer hexagon head. At this point, the blank of the hexagonal bolt to be twisted is completely formed.
6. Finally, the top rod in the second main mold cavity ejects the completely formed hexagonal bolt blank after the third die is retracted. Hexagon Bolt Manufacturing Process will be complete.
